  Hiring SummerVoyages was one of the best decisions we made soon after landing at the Colombo airport. Very professional in their approach. Offer you full transparency, no hidden charges along with digital transactions. Summer Voyages offer clean and comfortable cabs. Sugad was our cab driver, and he is one of the most humble, trustworthy and sincere person I have come across. Sugad was with us for 6 straight days, apart from the usual itinerary, he helped us cover some of the lesser known yet very beautiful spots in SriLanka.

  Our trip wouldn't have been half as good if we hadn't bumped into A Summer Voyages employee, Ranjith, at the airport when we arrived in Sri Lanka. He was a friendly man trying to help us get a sim card for the duration of our stay here and then brought us over to his Summer voyages desk where he talked to us about what we were planning on doing while we were here. Everything was very reasonable and tailored to our liking! We had a personal driver, Sugath who was the kindest and most gentle of souls. He drove us everywhere, to and from our accommodation. He was so lovely and looked after myself and my sister during all our trips. He gave us tips, gave us snacks and made us feel very safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend using Summer Voyages for an action filled and amazing experience of everything Sri Lanka has to offer 🌴❤️ I will miss Sugath and this beautiful country 🥺

  Thank you so much for wonderfully curating our journey through Sri Lanka. We planned this trip 6 months ahead and the company helped us plan the trip from beginning to end , giving us the option to fully customize our trip and going back and forth on emails making sure everything was perfect and just the way we wanted it, even though we decided to change it several times. After we arrived we were given a very warm welcome at the airport and the trip onwards from there was absolutely above expectations. Sri Lanka has to be the most beautiful country I've visited and in the 21 days we spent with our driver/guide we were able to understand the depth of this paradise island. We are thankful for this unique experience we had in Sri Lanka and it would not have been possible without the coordination and the experience of the staff and driver of this company.   It's a wonderful idea to have a driver who rides you around Sri Lanka, however, the driver can make or break your trip. Our drivers name was Deedeegayu. He started off great, but then he had a bad attitude if we wanted to go somewhere that was not on his itinerary or if we stayed in a place that was outside a city. He wanted to charge us more when we booked a place that was 25min outside the Ella to drive us there, even though we were told we could change the trip to our liking at anytime. He wanted to charge us $25 per person for this extra a few km. At $65 per day, these slight adjustments should be allowed. His attitude towards us really put a damper on our trip. When we said goodbye and thank you he didn't even acknowledge us, he just took the money including a 20% tip, which I did not believe he deserved but my friend felt bad for him, and drive off without even a thank you. When we spoke to the owner, they had nothing to say regarding the extra charges. I would not recommend this company.

Fantastic! We arrived with the idea of booking a different taxi every single day of our 7 day trip. Once we landed at the airport we were surprised by the kindness of Nayana. Not only they offered us a very affordable personal driver, but it turned out to also be incredibly soothing and flexible, so it allowed us to visit far more than what we have planned in the beginning. They constantly offered support and recommendations to ensure that our stay was memorable. Did the first 10 days of our Sri Lanka trip with a local driver to take us around, arranged through summer voyages. We went to Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, Kandy, Ella and Tangalle - driven by Nuwan who was excellent in recommending the activities (eg elephant safari, tea plantation visits, etc) and providing local info.  Verified Beautiful Sri Lanka experience with the perfect driver!
We booked a guide when we arrived at the Airport. The Salesman was very cooperative and made a perfect plan for 6 days. Our driver, Sudat, drove us perfectly save to our first hotel. He also stayed there for a short time to make sure we had no problems with the check in. Then he left and came back at the next morning, on time, to pick us up and drive to Dambulla. We really liked his driving style and he always asked if he shall stop when he notices that we were taking photos. When we asked to stop at a little shop or a toilet, he always looked for the fastest way to get there. He also asked us regularly if we were hungry (during lunch and dinner times in the car) and then suggested tasty restaurants which we always liked. When we wanted to go sight seeing, he always drove us to the “entrance” explained us the way to get there, and than waited for us in the car, what we really appreciated. During the drive from Dambulla to Ella, he also hat 2 very nice surprises for us, where he stopped so we could get little tours for free in special places we never thought about. Sudat really made our trip special with his kind, helpful, polite and polite character. He made everything possible, even the train ride which we hadn’t booked in advance. That was really great. Whiteout Sudat, our vacation wouldn’t have turned out that beautiful as it was! We can recommend this agency and especially Sudat 10/10!!!

Wonderful trip in grandiose landscapes with exceptional cultural sites... Excellent timing allowing discovery and relaxation.
